It could be a cookie problem.

I've had "cookie problems" more than a few times. Mr. Green

(I'll see what I can figure out. It IS annoying to log in everytime.)

Testing.....I give up! Anyone want to help me figure out picture posting from PhotoBucket? I went to my pic, clicked on the url code and or img (only one each time) to copy it, came back here, clicked on both img and url, pasted and clicked on either img or url again...it is only showing the "link" which I don't want...I want to show in my post only the one picture.....sigh Thanks

Best - with me it seemed to be hit or miss but my daughter is on another board and their directions said to copy the very last line on photo bucket under your photo.

If you move the cursor over to the right you should see the word copy magically appear if it has copied it because I told her I kept getting the pop up that didn't let me copy.

Then come to here and click IMG box - then right click and then copy - i still haven't figured out how to get a title and not the whole looong string of letters and numbers but at least I could get a picture posted!

Hope this helps.

I forgot how to post photos here too..it was complicated the last time I did it, so I think my mind blocked it out!LOL!

I remember it's not like on the old board. I liked that method better, it was easier! (I know, I know...I must be tech challenged!..I am!!) Rolling Eyes

Upload your pic to an online photo hosting place. copy the URL

click the IMG button paste the URL then click the IMG button again. It will sorta look like this when you type it in here on the board: (don't put any blank spaces inside the brackets)

[img] picture URL here [/img]

Once the post is submitted the [img][/img] tags will be invisible and all you'll see is your picture.

Also this is something that I wish everyone would keep in mind picture size when posting pics - it really slows down the system when large pictures are posted here - and especially slows it down those here who have slow internet connections. Cropping pictures works wonders.

OCD, I wanted to let you know, too that you can't post pictures that are on your computer - they need to be on another hosting site - do you still use photobucket? That's what I use for photos that I may post here.

yep, that's why I said to upload your photos to an online photo place first.

I still have seller sourcebook...they have the ability to give 3 sizes of photos, if I can still remember correctly. Photos have always been the bane of my existence. It always has to be so complicated! I've tried using my son's camera, my new cell phone camera too, but they are all so complicated!

What ever happened to "simple"???

I will try to get some photos of my "recent finds" on SS and then post them here. It will be good practice after being "out of shape"//LOL!

I'm having some log-in troubles of my own.

Not only do I have to log in each and every time I come to the board, but it makes me log in twice in a row!

It's that way whether I use Firefox or Internet Explorer, and even if I'm on another computer! How's that for odd?

Melanell, I have had that problem in the past but not lately. It's really frustrating because you can't click on the line that says what has been posted since I was last on since it was only a minute ago that you logged on!

I don't know why it does it but I know exactly what you're talking about.
